Is the $850 rate for a private bedroom?
The proposal is $850 per veteran, per bed, per month in shared bedroom accommodations at 4704 Greer Avenue. The home has two bedrooms and capacity for four furnished beds.
Can a housing program pay for a bed?
Each program has its own requirements. The proposed rate is subject to applicable SSVF, VA, or HUD-VASH rent-reasonableness and program requirements. Referral partners should confirm that their program permits shared bedroom accommodations before arranging a placement.
